PLUS License
Published on February 6, 2008 By jdhas In CursorFX

I have been a long and loyal user ot CursorXP Plus but I was dissapointed to see that there seems to be no simple way to upgrade my license from CursorXP to CursorFX.  Have I missed something, or will I need to shell out for what is, essentially, a new and spiffed up version of the software I already own?

If you have recently (the last two months) bought CFX you are covered.
Otherwise this page should help illustrate yoru options: https://www.stardock.com/products/cursorfx/purchase.asp

Most companies charge for upgrades.  It's how they pay the employees.

You, of course, always have the option to sick with CFX.

Rephrase what Zubaz said... If you have purchsed CursorXP since October, then you are covered.

Like Zubaz says, whenever a company comes out with "new" uprades of their software, they charge for it.  Perfect example... Windows XP... you had to pay to upgrade to Vista.  Games, when a new expansion pack comes up, you're paying for it.

Will it affect my purchased Cursor FX if I uninstall Cursor XP? I mean, why would I want both and since I upgraded to Cursor FX, why have the other?

Also with the latest updates you can move all your themes to FX with out issue. Don't let SDC uninstall your downloaded themes.

Hi I thought the upgrade policy was free upgrades for one year from purchase date. Regards
